Resource Furniture, who is logically based in NYC,  specializes in space saving furniture. I say logically there, because in a city where $800 gets you a hole in a wall to split with a strange roommate, you need all of the space you can get. And if you can compact 2 things into 1, all the better. And if you can get a desk or sofa that is also a transformer, why would you not?
