As a Netflixian without cable, it takes a season of Mad Men coming to an end for me to get going on it. If you have never seen the show, I’m sure you have heard about how brilliant it is. The people telling you that: they’re not lying. It’s a great story filled with scummy people you just can’t help but respect, and the vision of the period (1960′s) is seamless, but seamless in a very contemporary way as well. It doesn’t feel old or like the set designers are trying; it’s like an alternate dimension happening with a 40 year delay.
After completing the first disc of season three, and having Draper’s desk in mind for a while now, thought I would take the time to collect and post some furniture and other such architectural elements from the show.

Perhaps, individually, these desks are nothing special, but look at how
great those lines are with so many!

That’s all for now, if I’m really into it, maybe I will find a way to get some screen shots. But we’ll see about that.
Cheers,
