After quite a few initial designs and some research, here are a few screen shots from SketchUp of the final design for The Stoudt Englishman! These are exciting times, people! Look at how both of those sentences ended in exclamation points!

The Stoudt Englishman is a Media Console/Entertainment Center 23.5″D x 66″W x 20″H. Plans shown feature 8 drawers sized to fit 20-30 DVD’s each, one cubby with a door, an open ended adjustable shelf, and a back end pocket cabinet space 8″w x 24″d, perfect for a Wii Fit board!

Materials are Walnut Drawers faces and edging, birch multi-ply panels with exposed multi-ply edges, and a butch-block style glue-up end grain multi-ply top (which I have to come up with a better name for, that description is terribly long!). Drawer and cabinet interiors will be painted, either CRFTD Citron or a new color. The base will be constructed out of 1×2 box tube steel, and will be detachable to lighten the load.
