Another great find by Melissa! This link came in an e-mail with the subject line “I Think You’ll Liiiiikkkke This”, and she was right.

This guy is called Radar, designed by Piero Lissoni for Cassina who sell some pretty upscale, modern stuff, though these two pieces are the best that I found on there. Great colors and asymmetrical compartment placement, plus look at this glam shot:

I love the wood as a space filler. It’s the little things, people!

Lissoni makes some other interesting things, such as the Porro Collection (shown below).

Some of the other furniture gets too modern-as-perfection, cold, machine furniture, in other words, it lacks a little humanity as most modern industrial design does.
